Covid-19 Information

Please take the time to read our new policy.
As you can imagine like many other places we visit things are now going to have to be a bit different when you visit the salon!
Going by the guidelines for reopening and operating a safe salon environment for you all, the following procedures will be in place now at Mirror Mirror:
  • Please enter the salon by the side gate and not via the front door.
  • Hand sanitiser and face masks will be provided upon entry to the salon, wearing a face mask is compulsory. I will be wearing full PPE and disposing of each item between clients.
  • Please only arrive at the time of your scheduled appointment, if you arrive early you may have to wait outside or in your car until I have finished with the previous client. Please also be mindful not to arrive late for your appointment. Inevitably I may at times be running slightly behind and due to the volume of clients that have already booked in I will do my best to ensure I’m running on time, but will require your understanding to wait outside if I can’t allow you in straight away.
  • Please arrive alone to your appointment unless another family member is booked in at the same time for a haircut, in that case a maximum of two people in the salon at one time from the same household.
  • Please refrain from bringing young children with you to your appointment.
  • Children’s cuts are to be limited to Tuesdays and Wednesdays only until further notice.
  • If you are dropped off and collected from the salon please ensure the person who is giving you a lift arrives on time to drop you off, and is there to collect you at the end of your appointment to avoid keeping my other clients waiting.
  • Where possible wet cuts only are advised, understandably this will effect a lot of our weekly clients who have a wash and finish. We will continue to accommodate those clients if they are happy for us to do so.
  • Fringe trims and layers around the face are not recommended…anything that requires having to stand in front of you, again we’re happy to accommodate any clients still wishing for these services.
  • The salon toilet will remain open and will be cleaned between each client. Extra hygiene facilities have been added including paper towels, strong antibacterial hand wash, and toilet seat covers if required.
  • Refreshments are advised not to be offered however, we are still able to provide drinks in disposable cups, please bring your own cup if you prefer.
  • Salon magazines are now accessible in a digital format. Please remember to bring a device with you from home that you wish to read from. Simply scan the QR code available in the salon and enjoy a selection of over 50 magazines titles, no registration or app downloads required.
  • The salon sections, chairs, and basin will be cleaned between each client and the salon will undergo a deep clean at the end of each day.
  • Disposable towels and gowns will now be used.
  • All salon tools and equipment will be deeply sanitised between each client.
  • Where possible consultations are to be done online prior to when you arrive, so if you are thinking of having a re-style or colour change then please email us beforehand.
  • All clients will be required to fill out a health questionnaire form upon arrival, this will enable us to use the track and trace system and contact you if we we need to.
